These stories and news articles are helping raise awareness about the therapeutic benefits of live music played by Certified Music Practitioners.  It is an honor to be associated with these outstanding musicians.

In 2007, the primary focus of my work has been bringing moments of joy to Alzheimer's patients through familiar and popular songs and melodies.   It is a remarkable experience to see the positive effect familiar music has on Memory Care patients.  Chuck Jackson, from Albany, OR is an early-onset ALZ patient - and speaks regularly to caregivers about this disease.   His perspective helped orient me to serve this population effectively with music.   Click here to listen to a 3-minute NPR interview with Chuck
